Program Overview
The George Wilson Safety Foundation Summer Program was designed to support families in the Paducah Housing Community and their children throughout the summer by providing food, educational materials, and fun activities. Through this program, George Wilson and his team of trained professionals demonstrate fun ways for students to incorporate physical activities into their everyday life. In addition to the feeding program and activities, the mission of the George Wilson Safety Foundation Summer Programs is to allow students an opportunity to create memorable experiences that will last a lifetime.
Program Objectives
The summer program activities have been designed to provide free activities and feeding programs to students within the local Paducah housing community.
- Annual Sports Fest Football and Fitness Camp.
- Summer feeding program for students in underserved communities.
- Daily/Bi-Weekly Health and Wellness Activities at Phonograph Farms.
