Program Overview
The George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation Leadership Retreat is a program that has been designed to allow students to travel to a remote location outside of their everyday environments, to participate inactivities that will assist in the development of the true leader within.This two-day retreat will consist of breakout sessions and outdoor activities which will incorporate the Foundations seven core valuesFaith, Honesty, Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Leadership and TeamWork.
Program Objectives
Through breakout session and workshops, the Leadership Retreat was designed to provide practical tools and resources for all ages.
- Anti-bullying & Social Acceptance Training and Workshop.
- Encouraging students to develop a strategic plan of action for their lives through such activities as goal setting and leadership development.
- Equipping students with life skills and the necessary tools to thrive in challenging situations and environments.
